Leonard from Mutt Scouts Rescue in San Diego is the Pet of The Month. This poor dog was found on the side of the road next to debris and garbage. He was very ill and just lay amongst the trash. Luckily he was rescued and taken to a veterinarian for care. He had a serious case of  Sarcoptic mange and Ehrlichia. He was treated for months and allowed to rest and recover in a wonderful foster home. He has come a long way and thanks to Mutt Scouts and tons of generous donors now has a clean bill of health!  Last week he was neutered and is officially ON THE MARKET.

Leonard weighs about 90 pounds. He is great with kids, great with other dogs and is 95% house trained (just needs some additional follow up from his adopter). Leonard is a big dude who needs someone who has experience with big dogs and can continue his training.
